History:
The Punnett square was created by Reginald Punnett in the early 1900s. Punnett was born in 1875 and was interested in natural sciences at a very early age. Punnett attended college at Cambridge University and was the first scientist to study genetics there. In 1905, Punnett created what is now known as the Punnett square.
